JADE FAKE

Trans pinay producer songwriter from Antipolo city all the way from the bedroom, alone. From the ideas and sounds cooking within the corners of her head, and the agitation and struggles she finds herself into and the world she's in. She weaves and records everything into an 8 year old laptop, spreading it anywhere it can go as far as it can reach.

Jade started recording and producing music at the age of 17, experimenting with electronic music on Ableton Live ranging from dance, noise, collage, IDM, hyperpop, industrial, indie rock, jazz and classical. She started releasing music under the moniker Ronin in 2021 releasing a series of 3 long singles INFESTATION_1 to 3 and a full-length instrumental album Clips of My Boyfriend's Car Crash in early 2022. She then started working on an EP in the latter half of 2022 which would then be the Kimchi Gonzales EP which would launch her moniker as Jade Fake after transitioning in 2023.

She has formed her unique sound over a couple of years of making music at her home by herself, and the wide range of music that influenced her throughout the years. Continuously seeking to explore new grounds throughout her work.
